Communities for Working Haredim
In recent years, a growing movement has been emerging within the Haredi community: men and women who seek to integrate the world of Torah with the world of work, remaining fully committed to their Haredi identity while taking an active role in Israeli society and the national economy. Many face challenges along the way. They are often seen as "different" within the communities they come from, while simultaneously struggling to find a true sense of belonging in the broader public sphere.
In response, a nationwide network of communities for working Haredim has taken shape, offering a supportive social, cultural, and spiritual framework for those who choose a path of integration. These communities operate across Israel and provide a space where individuals can maintain a deep Torah-centered Haredi identity while engaging in the workforce, pursuing education, and embracing civic responsibility.
Around these communities, a new educational, vocational, and cultural infrastructure is being built, an ecosystem of mutual responsibility, emerging leadership, and shared commitment to Israel’s future as a cohesive and thriving society.
