Moving Forward: Supporting IDF Combat Veterans After Service
Each year, approximately 15,000 combat soldiers complete years of demanding and often intense military service. As they remove their uniforms, many find themselves facing feelings of isolation, confusion, anxiety, and loss of direction.
Moving Forward was born from the understanding that we cannot leave them behind. Those who gave everything to their country deserve a place that restores their strength: a community of support, belonging, and guidance as they take their first steps into civilian life.
In partnership with municipalities across Israel, Moving Forward is building a nationwide network of dedicated community centers for recently released combat soldiers. These centers provide a holistic framework of personal empowerment, social connection, and practical guidance. A place to breathe, to refocus, and to rebuild.
The vision of Moving Forward is not only to help these soldiers get back on track, but to help them thrive. This is a national effort to turn the transition from army service into an opportunity for growth.
